LIC HFL’s Home Loan for Pensioners is built for people drawing — or about to draw — a pension under a Defined Benefit Pension Scheme (DBPS).

You can repay until you turn 80 (maximum 30 years), and add your working children as co-applicants so their income raises the loan amount you qualify for.

## Who can apply

- Individuals drawing pension under a Defined Benefit Pension Scheme, up to 65 years of age
- State government employees eligible for DBPS pension
- Employees of PSU insurers, PSUs, nationalised banks, and Central / State Government eligible for DBPS pension

## Key features

- Loan term up to the age of 80 of the pensioner, or 30 years — whichever is earlier
- Spouse must be a joint applicant, whoever owns the property
- Children can be co-applicants; their income is added for a longer term and higher eligibility
- If a younger co-applicant’s income is used, the term runs up to 30 years or until that applicant turns 80, whichever is earlier
